A unique and useful piece, this small Ulu knife or herb chopper is made from spring tooth harrow steel.

After this quality high carbon steel spent many years in the field, we have given it a second bid on life. Hand forged on the anvil at our home shop here in Potlatch, Idaho, each piece is unique and follows the same basic design.

Each Ulu is carefully heat treated to hold an edge and provide easy sharpening.

The Ulu is easy to grasp in a pinch type grip, with the tang, or handle, fitting up into the palm for support and control. This is very ergonomic for many tasks, from chopping herbs, skinning, and shaping wood projects.

The chopper comes in a 6" x 5" kraft brown gift box, making it a great presentation gift for special occasions.
