This whimsical solid hardwood footstool is charmingly hand painted in a palette of vibrant pastels: lavender, lipstick pink, leaf green, butter yellow, and aqua blue. The realistically rendered trompe l'oeil ("fool the eye") cushion is tufted with a button, with diamond pattern stitching. A pearl necklace drapes across the cushion, spilling over the edge--no doubt tossed there after a fancy party or dress-up session! Sturdily constructed by Whittier Wood out of solid alder wood, this stool will give your child a leg up for years to come!

This stool can be personalized with your child's first name free of charge! The name will be hand lettered on the front edge of the stool in gilt paint, with a coating of polyurethane to preserve it. The entire stool has multiple coats of polyurethane to protect it, so clean up is as easy as a wipe with a damp cloth. At time of purchase, contact me with the name with which you would like the stool personalized. Each piece is signed and numbered for authenticity.
