This is a unique solid wood turned platter which is built with cherry and features figured maple inlays. The bowl is square yet is turned on a lathe with upturned corners and rests on a small base. It can be used for cheese, crackers, Hors d'oeuvre. The piece pictured (available for immediate shipment) is 9 1/2" square with an overall height of 1 1/4"
It can be special ordered in any size and species such as walnut, maple, cherry, or mahogany with any inlays requested. The piece is sanded down to 500 grit (very smooth) and has 6 coats of hand rubbed oil food safe finish
