"Black Watch," Hand-dyed roving, Falklands wool (which is mainly Corriedale and Polwarth), 4 oz braids dyed in shades of blue and green, very soft with slight luster, acid fast dyes. I have 4 of these of same dyelot if you have a big project in mind. They have been dyed in the same sequence if you are trying to match up singles for color effects.
This is one of my favorite kinds of wool to spin. It is quite soft, easy to spin, versatile, but less likely than merino to pill. It has a tendency like Corriedale to fluff up (or bloom) a little after it is spun and the yarn is soaked to set the twist, so you may wish to spin a finer single taking that into account.
This wool will felt, so we suggest cool water wash with no agitation.
