Some of these pens have made my friends ask, "How in the world...?" This is a specialty line that uses two or more different types of wood to make an eye-catching design that makes the pen a combination writing instrument and conversation piece.
I don't typically use stain on any of my projects; I believe the natural beauty of the wood sells itself. Depending on stock, I can make them from maple, American walnut, African mahogany, true mahogany, red lyptus, cherry, white oak, red oak, padauk, sapele, bubinga, purpleheart, yellowheart, tiger maple, Louisiana cypress, wenge, jacote, okoume, birch, and bloodwood. Hardware finishes are available in bright chrome, satin gold, 24k bright gold, satin pearl, gun metal, and bright copper.
