these tote bags are a thing of great ruggedness, purposefulness and beauty as all natural things and places are in this world. these super roomy tote bags are a testament to how things made well will last for generations. she started her journey serving the french military back in the vintage days, made to carry supplies for survival in the army, she has now been dismantled, repurposed and recreated for the modern day trekker. made of nearly indestructible vintage french linen/canvas with a lovely aged patina only earned from things of a by-gone era, fitted with hand stitched eco leather straps, a generous inner pocket (one large & one smaller for your phone) and antique brass snap closure (attached on the side of the bag) that keeps everything buttoned up for a peace of mind. hours and hours of hand stitched details using irish waxed linen thread for it's strength and natural beauty. this bag will serve you endlessly, travel well & keep good company whether you are adventuring on a weekend road trip into the wilderness, stocking up at a farmers market, loaded up with veggies & fruits (she loves veggies & fruits...) or carrying all your creature comforts for an amazing beach day. she'll carry those towels, books, lotions, hats, iPods, snacks, toys.... well, you get the idea, she's very generous with her space & ready to be a part of your life in every way as a trusty lifetime companion...

**please note that all of my goods are hand made using mostly recycled, vintage and/or new eco, sustainable, organic materials. I spend many many countless hours putting my focus, intention & love into each & every piece I design starting from hand picking the fabric, washing & drying, designing, drafting & cutting the pattern to sewing, stitching, ironing, hammering and finally hand embossing the logo. As with a lot of vintage or recycled materials, there are inherent markings that some may consider "flaws". I personally find that it's these beautiful little "scars" that give each piece it's own special character, imparting a uniqueness that I could not create with a perfect pristine brand new piece of fabric. I love the perfection of imperfection and I don't discard fabrics, leathers & any other materials due to these "scars". Please keep this perspective in mind if you are thinking of purchasing any of my goods.
