The "Dreon" custom maple desk is constructed entirely of solid wood with traditional joinery methods. It has an 1-1/2" thick floating hardwood maple desktop that is as smooth as a sheet of glass. The cabinets are also made of solid hardwood maple with waterfall grain pattern. There's no plywood in this build, it's entirely from hardwood lumber. There are double drawers with double file drawers on the left return section, and the main section houses three standard storage drawers. All of the drawer boxes are dovetailed solid maple hardwood and feature soft-close Blum undermount slides for the smoothest action. Cabinets sit on 1-1/4" black steel frames with brushed nickel leg levelers in each corner. Main section measures 62″W x 20″D and the left return section is generously sized at 88″W x 22″D, giving it an overall dimension of 108″ x 62″. The hard white maple received a custom Pecan stain with a medium hand-rubbed finish sheen.
