Harvest Table Supported By Architectural Corbels

At the request of another woodworking craftsman/customer, The Plane Edge took the actual architectural corbel, which had some damage, and copied its design to be used as supports for a heavy harvest table.

The corbels were made from poplar, and as the photos show they had to be carefully glued, cut out, and shaped to their final sizes. Additionally the corbels needed to be cut to the exact same height and they had to be square.

The finished corbels were delivered to the woodworking artist/customer who primed, painted, and installed them to complete the table, making a very handsome and impressive harvest table.

Steve is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very attentive to getting all the details right, and always welcomes your input. I had some doubts about working with someone long distance, but I couldn't be happier with the results and it's because Steve keeps you in the loop every step of the way. I love my table!
