The Kohala Model Alaia
This is the next step for progressive alaia riders. It's wider. It has tail rocker. It has entry rocker. While this is still a fast finless alaia, I've opened the door to the option of adding 2 small FCS fins at the rails. These fins can make it hold better and actually drive bottom turns and maintain the line you set. Why? All those equate to an alaia that rides more like a modern thruster.
The word "Kohala" is actually the northern part of the Big Island in Hawaii. Kohala is also where Xylem began, so it has a lot of meaning behind it for me.
