Headboard Set
This beautiful headboard and foot board set are full of character from the dramatic grain often present in rich and creamy Pacific Madrone hardwood from which it was made. Built in a serene contemporary style with traditional influences from the West and the East with floating tenon joinery for a lifetime of durability. The headboard's slat spacing is based on a number sequence derived using the Fibonocci Sequence as a special request by my client who self describes as a "math guy." The solid Madrone foot board features a marvelous brown mineral streak and is inlaid with richly patinated metal rectangles that mirror the sequencing in the headboard. The side rails of the bed are heavy gauge metal tubing with the same rich brown patina as the metal rectangles in the foot board and welded metal reinforcements for a nice, stiff, wobble-free bed that can withstand a lifetime of action. The client who ordered this is a big man and he broke his last bed. He's not going to break this one.
