I sculpted this complicated heart shaped jewelry box from very thick cherry wood slabs, remooving 90% of the wood. The interior is box within box within box, all red velvet lined. Also i made a sculpted drawer on each side. The lid, i carved raised lettering and gilded it with 23 karat gold leaf. The hinges are expensive brusso hinges.
Size is approximately 12 inches by 12 x 8 inches high, with the lid steeply slanted. All in the organic Art Nouveau style.
