Heirloom, Hand Sculpted Walnut Cradle
Heirloom, custommade walnut cradle inspired by professional woodworker Scott Morrison and Sam Maloof. The top rail of our walnut cradle featuring bent wood lamination and striking curvature connects to the cradle platform via twenty sculpted vertical slats. This walnut cradle is hand sculpted, showcasing its sensuous curves, flowing lines, and advanced joinery, which will be a family heirloom for generations.
The cradle stand is hand sculpted to showcase hard and soft flowing lines, which complements the cradle basket. The stand supports the basket via steel pins and brass sleeves for maximum support of the basket.
The walnut cradle finished product is sanded to 4000 grit to produce an incredible silk-like feel, inviting to the touch, and then finished with a hand rubbed oil and poly finish for protection.
