This piece is carved from an Appalachian Oak Burl with bark inclusions. I was speaking with a friend about maybe lending a hand in the shop from time to time. He, being the helpful and insightful person that he is, suggested that I carve one out. I did just that. This is and example of sarcasm taken literally. After completing the carving, my friend stopped by again. He saw the hand and said " I see that you took my advice. It has been about as helpful as I would have been anyway." This piece is available and will be shipped immediately after receipt of cleared payment.
