Hickory Farm Table With Natural Finish

I made this particular table for my sister to the dimensions of her small apartment. The wood is Hickory and I milled the wood from the log of a storm damaged tree in a nearby town. The dense nature of this wood produces a very heavy and sturdy table. Other local wood options include pecan, oak, and maple.
This particular table is three feet by four feet with a one and a half inch thick top. All of the corners including the legs are simply hand sanded round to produce a rustic style. Custom orders can be made with tapered or turned legs as well as different styles for the edges of the table.
This table was finished with Odie's Oil, a food safe finishing polish that protects and enhances the natural look of the wood. The legs are removable for easy moving and shipping.
