An large L-shaped desk made from solid Hickory.

This desk had to be built in three sections because of the size and the weight of the hickory. The interesting part was determining the support structure. We couldn't add legs in the center since the client needed to freely move from one end of the desk to the other. So we created a large pedestal base in the center which also acts as a main support. This was inspired by renaissance architecture I had seen while in Italy.
