Customer requested a home office shelving installation on 3 walls consisting of: (1) a window seat with 5 large drawers below the window, (2) a wall of floor-to-ceiling irregular shelving with 1 shelving unit on top of the window seat, (3) a separate shelving with base cabinet & another shelving unit with doors on top of the window seat. The craftsman suggested using the "dead" space as storage so there are 2 storage areas, 1 just in front of the right-side shelving on top of the window seat & 1 behind the left-side double doors hidden from view. The cold air return needed to be redirected under the window seat, and several holes drilled to receive electrical wires that will provide electricity for ambient shelving lighting. Crown molding caps off the shelving units to provide a professional but classic look. All shelving units were primed & painted using a satin white latex paint.
