Honey Locust Scrabble Board

This is a great Hardwood example using a wood species called Honey Locust that is found in the North East all the way down to around Georgia. To find such a large piece of lumber to mill this out of was quite a feat. After the initial milling is done on the front and the back, it is time for sanding and finishing preparation. With no easy way of mechanically sanding each and every area, it is a painstaking hand sanding process not for the faint of heart. This leads the way to installing the inlays which I will discuss next.
