Hooded Poncho With Matching Booties

I began this project with an idea for a poncho. With a baby blue acrylic yarn I crocheted the two sections and stiched the two parts together to make the poncho. Then I stiched another section that I sewed together to create a hood. At the back of the hood I wanted to fill the space left so I used a criss-cross stich to fill that open area in. I used that same stich in the edge of the hood, in the poncho edge and along the top of the booties. The booties I also crocheted using the baby blue acrylic yarn. This set was made to fit a 3-6 month baby boy.
