Echo Star is the title of the painting featured on this blank greeting card; he is a Bay Arab gelding rescued by Equamore Horse Sanctuary in Ashland, OR. The original oil painting is part of my Equamore Horse Series, exhibited in March 2013 to celebrate National Horse Protection Day. Ten percent of the purchase price from this card will be donated to Equamore Foundation to help with horse care and rescue.

Animal Art Greeting Card/Postcard Combination
This card is made with a postcard featuring my oil painting "Echo Star". Echo Star was rescued after being impounded by animal control for savagely attacking a woman. He was a thin and malnourished stallion, who spent all of his time frustrated, pacing in his small paddock. Euthanasia was seen as the only alternative for him until Equamore intervened. He is now gelded, healthy, and fully integrated into the Equamore gelding herd. Ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of this card and other items featuring this painting is donated to Equamore Foundation, a non-profit horse sanctuary in Ashland, OR, to assist with horse care and rescue.
