Illustrated Mugs
The patterns on these illustrated mugs are drawn from historic textile patterns. The detail is hand drawn onto the thrown ceramic mugs with an underglaze that gives the surface a subtle texture. The outside is then glazed with a glossy clear over the white stoneware clay.
The pottery coffee mug was thrown in my pottery studio in Columbus, Ohio. It is food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
