this was a great experience - we needed a table for our new apartment and had to fit a specific space - we checked out restoration hardware etc but could not find anything, we found gene through custom made and had a great design dialogue using the website. the responsiveness, and attention to the process was very good. he helped us customize it to fit our space and decor, once the table was finished he delivered and set it up at a time to suit us and we are very happy with the finished product - simply excellent.
this was built for a client in brooklyn , i used reclaimed lumber for the stand and stained it a grey color ,the legs came off and old machine . the doors i made using 1/12 steel and wire mesh for inset , he needed something heavy duty but not to large
