We built our new home several years ago and I had been looking high and low for a large chandelier for our dining room that has a very high pitched ceiling. After three years looking for the right fixture, I stumbled upon Simon's work. I wanted a chandelier similar to one he made for another client, but he customized the sizing and details to my needs. The chandelier is exactly what I had been looking (and waiting) for -- it is simply stunning. It truly is a work of art.
This is one of a series of seven all steel pedestal pieces. The piece is made from some reclaimed parts from heavy machines but most of it is hand cut and ground bent and welded painted and patina. The piece comes with the real I-beam base.
