Ipe Deck - Kauai, Hi
This ipe deck was designed and built by Greene Pepper woodworking. The idea was to let the house open to the deck and allow easy access to and from the kitchen/dining areas.
The deck covered approximately 600 sq. ft. and included about 100 ft. of custom railing. The ipe deck boards were fastened using hidden fasteners to allow for a clean and smooth surface.
This project also included a small renovation to add a french door with side lights to access the deck and to increase the view.
