Jane Morris

when I was in high school I was really into formal portraits, and became obsessed with Dante Gabriel Rossetti. this is a copy, or let's say an interpretation, of one of his paintings of Janey Morris, done in pastel. I've been revisiting realistic portraiture and dug up a lot of my old stuff, and now with the wonders of quality digital cameras, I'm finally willing to let it go. this work is not matted, mounted or framed; it is just the pastel drawing itself.

dimensions are 11.14"

I'm still getting back up to speed on painting realistically, so am not taking custom orders at the moment, or, if I did, they'd have a very loose time frame. And i don't do realistic portraiture. You'd think I'd be good at it, but I'm not. I'm big enough to admit that. However, if you have an old house and want some old-looking paintings of supposed ancestors...I'll see what I can do. I work in acrylic on paper or canvas.
