Japanese Style Candle Lantern ( Claro Walnut)
This Japanese style Candle lantern made of Claro Walnut .
I designed this lantern so the lighten candle can easily be placed and contained using a 1 1/2"dia. 2"depth copper cup with two copper pegs that are affixed to the sides. At the bottom of the lantern there is a 1 1/2" notched hole where the copper cup is inserted and given a quarter turn to lock into place securing it into place. The fiberglass shade panels on all four side have the authentic look of rice paper but with more durability.Artificial LED candle lighting also can be used in this unit or it can also be made into a lamp using 12 volt LED lighting.
