Jump!

Jump!

The inspiration for Jump! comes from Philippe Halsman's Jump Book published in 1959. Halsman, a talented portrait photographer, made a point of always taking one last picture of his subject jumping. This book features hundreds of photos of the notable folks of his day: politicians, captains of industry, royalty, and entertainers of all types, all caught mid-air. It's a fascinating book. The marquetry Jump! showcases a delightful silhouette of Maurice Chevalier in flight and clicking his heels. An inspirational design that celebrates life. Custom adaptations to this design are also to be considered. Possibilities include- Sing!, Dance! Create! or words of your choice. Silhouettes can be of other images from the Jump Book or from one that you provide. Contact J Mac Wood Design to discuss and price a custom work based on your interests. Jump! - in contrasting veneers, 20" diameter, ready to hang
