"Kaa The Snake"

This sculpture is currently available. It was carved from a piece of Japanese Pyrophyllite, that weighed about 150 lbs. This type of stone is also known as wonderstone. The eyes are gold-plated amethyst. The tongue was carved from an unidentified specimen (I think it is chert). Kaa was named after the python character in Rudyard Kiplings "Jungle Book". It can be mounted on a base of your choice, or, left on its own.

Dimensions: 19"x12"x8" Weight is about 50 lbs
