The table that James made was exactly what we requested and more. The workmanship is excellent and we have already recommended him to other people. He delivered as promised and kept us up to date as far as the progress. We had to select a color and he sent us 12 samples on the wood that we had selected. After selecting the color we made coasters out of the wood samples.
We would definitely use him again next time we have a project.
The design of this storage headboard was adopted from a piece owned by the clients step-mother. The original headboard fit a king sized bed and only included the ten turned columns on the upper portion, and the center compartment with sliding raised panel doors. The original had a simple flat panel across the entire front, similar to the center seen on this piece. Keeping approximately the same overall length, but fitting it to a full sized bed allowed for the addition of the bookcase corners and 18 additional turned columns of varying lengths.
