Keepsake Box For A Hunter
This box was made as a gift for an elk hunter. It is made of quartersawn oak and the marquetry composition is made of several different veneers. The inside of the lid is composed of book matched oak burl with the inlaid initials being made of walnut veneer. The tray and inner portions of the box are lined with leatherette.
