This pretty box makes use of the Japanese decorative art of Kumiko to add an Asian flair. It can be used for keepsakes, tea bags or as a potpourri container. The box shown is built of black walnut and pine and uses splined, mired joinery and can be customized with your choice of wood species for the sides and bottom. Basswood or pine is used for the Kumiko top. Different geometric patterns can be specified as well. Dimensions: 5.25"L x 4.25"W x 3.25"H.
