Every time I work with white oak I come to love it more than ever before. The smell, the grain, the figure/character, and the diversity in color. Cane and white oak go together like coffee and cream in the morning.

"Keke" incorporates cane as the paneling of the doors which sets this piece apart from most other consoles/credenzas/sideboards/buffets out there. The cane is a nice feature since it allows the owner to place speakers on the inside for a concealed music playing - which is precisely what the owner will be doing with this console; Record player on top, speakers and storage inside. Nice.

Dovetails are always a personal favorite aspect of any carcass I make, and thoroughly enjoy making them as close to perfect as possible.

Each piece is finished with a protective oil and hardwax blend for a beautiful and warm matte finish. Finish will not water-spot.
