Kiri Wood Japanese Style Clothing Chest, Isho Dansu, Tansu
Our handcrafted artisans chest made of Paulownia wood (known in Japanese as kiri), this environmentally friendly fast growing wood is very light weight, fine-grained, soft, and warp-resistant. Fine detailing including dovetail joinery throughout, and traditional iron hardware make this chest a handsome and practical addition to most any interior. Ideal for organizing clothing, crafts, office supplies, or jewelry. This Isho tansu, traditionally used as a clothing chest, is fabricated in two (2) sections and features a mix of sliding doors, and six (6) large drawers have full extension glides. Customization available.
