This is a kitchen island that I just built custom for a customer in Vermont. They wanted something rustic, yet elegant to add some charm and function to their kitchen. It features nice natural chunky legs, two dovetailed drawers with soft close under mount slides, wine cubbies, adjustable shelf, pocket with overhang to seat two, and a beautiful butcher block top with lots of character.

The finish is a nice translucent windsor green that enhances the 200 year old pine and fir random width bead board.

Two ornate East lake cast iron bin pulls were salvaged and cleaned up for the drawers.
