This is a koa dresser with hand turned ebony handles. It features a completely seamless back inlaid to the case. The back, sides, top inner portion and bottom are all not only in picture frame design, but adhered together with mitered angles. No screws or nails were needed for its structural integrity. All portions of koa were milled to at least 7/8" thick and the back has various ebony dowels. The front divider has a visible sliding dove tail and the side panels are floating in a picture frame design.
The moulding under the top is similar to ancient Chinese design and the piece is intended to be beautiful from all angles. The legs are each comprised of 5 separate pieces and joined together with cross grain splines.
Koa is considered one of the most beautiful woods in the world.
This dresser is suited in virtually any room and is meant to use daily.
Dimensions: They can vary. The above pricing is for koa only, since it is one of the rarest woods in the world.
