This concert ukulele was built using highly figured chocolate Koa for the sides and back. The soundboard is made of old growth cedar with very tight grain and is braced like that of a classical guitar. The binding is curly Koa. The neck is mahogany with two black walnut splines. Gotoh tuning machines and fluorocarbon strings.
This instrument was was finished with home made shellack and french polished.
