"Kudu" Cufflink Or Ring Box

Africa's largest antelope, the Kudu was the inspiration for this multi species Artisan Style box. Designed with three vertical pull out trays for storage of cufflinks and/or rings. The hidden hinged lid has a mahogany framework with beautiful claro walnut burl. Kudu stripes were inlayed into the burl using crushed pearl. The sides of the box are lace wood with banding of ebony and black palm woods. The legs of the box were hand carved from African black wood. The handle for the top is ebony. The bottom of the box is branded with my logo, signed and dated. I also wrote the list of woods used in creating this work. The dimensions are 6.75"w x5.5"d x7"H. I will be designing more works in the near future borrowing patterns found in nature.
