This Kwasnycia guitar is a Small Jumbo (SJ) that has a 25 1/2 scale length and can handle a low tuning of C with no problems. The back and sides are over 40 years old in storage and is well seasoned. The top is a very fine Western Red Cedar with a Spalted Maple rosette. The frets on this guitar are also Gold Evo that are hypoallergenic and last longer than standard 18 percent nickel. The florentine cutaway also helps for those notes that are passed the 14th fret.
The Cedar top will give a warmth that works well with the Mahogany back and sides. The Mahogany back and sides give this guitar wonderful mid tones and a very fundamental note and still with the Cedar top, it has great head room, able to handle a heavy handed player and also the light touch, of a finger style player as well.
