Lampwork Egyptian Periwinkle Sparkle Pendant On A Beadhopper

I love this pendant! To me, my lampwork creations are like AKC puppies. You put a lot into them, you raise them and love them but you have to sell them...hopefully to a good family.

The focal bead is built on a Periwinkle base. Its lower section is wrapped in silvered glass that offers a variety of colors depending on the heat introduced to the different sections of the bead. It was flattened into a shape reminiscent of an Egyptian sarcophagus. A gold stone stringer divides the sections and is swirled on each side. Three tiny dots of silvered glass give the bottom half of the bead a little sparkle. Two little periwinkle beads on each end complete the design.

This pendant measures 3 1/8" / 8 cm long and 1/4" / 13 mm wide.

A "BeadHopper" was used to create the pendant The BeadHopper is a great new system for bead the artist to display and wear special lampwork creations. All pieces are silver plated and I recommend that you keep your pendant in a zip lock bag, however they are easily cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Simply unscrew the bottom silver bead and all the components slide off. As Corina says, "Change your mind, change your bead!"

♥I work with soft glass of many different brands and types. Generally I use a 1/16 sized mandrel unless otherwise noted. As a professional lampworker, my beads are annealed in my digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability. I personally inspect each bead for flaws and I thoroughly clean the bead holes with my trusty Dremel tool.

♥All photographs are color balanced to represent the colors as accurately as possible; however different monitors do display colors differently, and the photographs are sometimes larger than life to show detail.

♥If for any reason you are not be satisfied with your purchase I am more than willing to exchange or refund according to customer desires.
