Sculpture, Home Decor, Land Shark Drift Wood!!
Wonderful thing about being a self taught- Recycle Artist is, there are no rules and boundaries in creating art.
As a referral, a customer come by my studio who was looking for someone that could do something creative with two pieces of drift wood her family had collected a few years ago. Well, she showed me the drift wood and asked me if I could create some kind of sculpture with them. We talked for a bit and all I could see was a shark in the wood.
I used an old wheelbarrow steel to create the fins and a few other found objects. I made the piece wall mount and also had the ability to free stand if she wanted. This took a few days to complete.
The cost for this project was 350.00
Cool part I live in Santa Fe, NM fun to create aquatic themes in the desert.
