Large Nuka Platter With Cobalt (Sku 79)

I made this piece on the pottery wheel using stoneware clay. After the bisque firing to 1800 degrees, it was was dipped in a wood ash glaze called a Nuka glaze, then I brushed cobalt onto the glaze to create blue colored accents. Lastly, it was fired to about 2300 degrees F. in a natural gas kiln. It is 100% functional, dishwasher safe and microwaveable. Height 2", width 12.5".
