Large Nuka Platter With Iron (Sku 78)

I made this bowl on the pottery wheel using stoneware clay. The bowl was dipped in a wood ash glaze called a Nuka glaze, then I brushed iron onto the glaze to create rust colored accents. Lastly, it was fired to about 2300 degrees F. in a natural gas kiln. It is 100% functional, dishwasher safe and microwaveable. Height 2", width 12.5".
