Large-Scale Charcoal Drawing
This drawing is one of four in a series I did of the Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen. There is something about those photos that I found intriguing and wanted to recreate them on a large scale with charcoal.
This is the fourth drawing in the series. The combination of her melancholy posture and the beautiful lace gown made for a striking image and one that would be truly a challenge for me to recreate. I learned a lot and grew as an artist while working on this piece, and it's my favorite of the four.
