This leather is about 5 ounce thick (about 1/16 to 5/64 of an inch thickness)and includes all the layers and is not split to make other products such as suede. Only the hair has been removed so you can see the character of the hide. With time and use, full grain leather builds character and charm of vintage appeal because all the layers are intact.
