Library Stand
An often overlooked piece of furniture, I developed this Library Stand as part of a larger grouping of furniture using tapered bent laminations.
The photograph shows the stand in Walnut, and could easily be made with other choices of fine woods.
This piece has been used in several galleries where fine books have been displayed. It is large enough to handle most art books and yet smaller tomes are not lost resting closed on the surface.
