This is a one-of-a-kind life-sized steel horse. She stands at 8 1/2 feet long. My horses are created from steel, copper, stainless steel and bronze. Made at 1/8″ thickness, each piece is hand cut using a plasma cutter. Then shaped by hammering the cut piece against a steel block or anvil. Similar to the way a blacksmith would shape iron, but this is all done cold, hand forged, fabricated steel. I do not use any computerize machines to punch out the pieces of steel. This is a very timely process and in a way, a dying form of art.
