The customer requested a round sign with the company logo and name.
It did not take long to realize what was needed here was something truly organic, so we designed this piece to represent a few of Earth's elements.
We began by using a live edge bass wood round for the background. The logo is cut from birch and stained with tinted water borne stain. Then we mounted the logo as a floating element to represent air.
The text is laid out in a wave to represent water and then hand carved and hand painted brown to represent earth.
Everything is then finished with a low sheen water borne clear coat.
