I treat each carved form differently as a work of functional art, either relating to the wood, or responding to the concepts or feel my customer desires.

With live edge bowls, I use as much as the outside edge of the tree as I can to make a beautiful organic bowl form. Each bowl is different. Each is made from reclaimed wood that would have ended up in a chipper, burn pile or the city dump.

Bring me your idea and I will come up with something that you will cherish for each generation. Or you can give liberty for me to design a unique art form for your office, home, or cabin.

The time to produce this work will be dependent on the details and size and availability and moisture content of the wood. I can provide a better idea of time based on my schedule and the specific project. Typically allow 6-8 weeks for custom work like this. Sometimes this is faster.
