I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. This Table is a book matched walnut slab and measures 13 feet long, 48 inches wide and is 2 1/2 inches thick. It sits on a metal base and seats 12. Time frame to finish depends on lumber drying time.
