This maple burl is absolutely stunning! The grain patterns are incredible and so unique! The center of this burl was rotted out and filled itself with dirt and rotted wood and new twigs and branches started growing through it. I salvaged the whole center so you can see the small twigs that were growing through the rotted center. All of the big voids and cracks are filled with epoxy to help preserve everything.
It's finished with an oil to keep the natural look and feel of the wood.
The legs are black steel and can be replaced with something different if preferred.
