Live Edge Maple Table With Reclaimed Barn Wood Legs
This table has a unique live edge slab top on a simple reclaimed base to give the contrast of new and old. The maple slab is joined from two pieces from the same slab creating a symmetry that is broken by the unusual knot which gives the slab its character. In contrast to the smooth, clear finish of the slab, the reclaimed barn wood used for the base has a weathered appearance and its dark stain pulls it to the background making the slab the highlight.
